NotchMan vs NotchOwl
NotchOwl does one thing: a small planner in the notch. Today's tasks, a focus timer tied to a task, a daily notepad, and your Apple Calendar events. It is cheap and focused. NotchMan has no task list at all, so this is less a head-to-head than a question of which shape of app you want.

Choose NotchOwl if what you want in the notch is today's to-do list with a timer on it. It is a quarter of the price and does that job cleanly.

Choose NotchMan if you already have a task manager and want the notch for the small stuff around it: what you copied, how long you've worked, water, food, a breather, habits.
Questions
- Does NotchMan have a task list?
- No. It has timers with labels and a time log by category, but no to-do list. If tasks are the point, NotchOwl is the better fit.
- Does NotchOwl work on Intel Macs?
- Its site lists Apple silicon Macs only. NotchMan runs on both.
- Which is better for focus sessions?
- NotchOwl ties the timer to a task, which is nice if you plan in it. NotchMan's Pomodoro cycles breaks automatically and logs labelled blocks, and has a breathing exercise on the break.
